Vertical Dance masterclass with Dela Seward & Rowan Fae
This class is open to all levels of dance & circus artists - all participants need is a basic level of physical fitness.
We can facilitate both beginners and intermediate standards as we can splinter the workshops for parts of the sessions where required.
We will start the day with a contemporary class and then you’ll be introduced to Vertical Dance equipment and foundations followed by a two hour technique class

Testing Ground is a platform for work in progress or newly developed experiments in dance. Testing Ground is supported by Theatre Bristol and Circomedia and creates an opportunity for artists to show new work as well as receive valuable feedback from industry peers and professionals.

Wired aerial theatre are a leading Aerial Dance company, who work primarily in vertical dance and bungee assisted aerial dance techniques. They have an amazing training space with a perfect aerial wall! The wall is made of a kind of taught canvas, It is both resistant to spring off from and giving to land on. I had the pleasure of working with my good friend and long time dance partner Dr Jess Allen on a site specific project in Eastville. The event took place in an interesting location; underneath the M32 motorway and next to the river Frome.
